We had a refreshing Sunday in Geneva. We began the day by leaving the hotel after breakfast and going to the church. Everyone participated in singing and playing at the church and we had the opportunity to get to know some of the people at the church as we joined the church body for their lunch. Afterwards several people from the group went out to explore the town and took pictures of the beautiful mountains before heading to the camp at the bottom of Mount Blanc. Team member Grace Hathaway shared ““On Sunday we went to a French church and had our concert. I met and interacted with many of the French people and made many friends. The people are so kind there. They fed us incredible food, and then sat with us for the afternoon while we were waiting to be able to go to the place we’re staying at. I was so humbled by their ever growing enthusiasm as each piece was played during both the service and the post-concert concert. They sent us on our way with hugs kisses and many well wishes and invitations to return.” Member Zelda Manney also shared “It was so fun and refreshing to worship with the church in Sallanches. We shared our music with them, and they taught us one of their favorite French hymns. It was a Sunday I’ll never forget.”After a full day of fellowship and shopping the team was able to spend Monday resting. In the afternoon the team was blessed with a visit to the French Language school for missionaries. A few team members even got to go to a local Bible Exposition. The days finished with a game of soccer containing a breathtaking view.
