Tuesday the team traveled 7 hours to get to Italy. Once in Italy they were greeted by an amazing barbecue hosted by the local church in Grosseto. The barbecue was a wonderful time of fellowship and testimonies. Team member Martha enjoyed the Barbecue  “The barbecue was amazing! I felt like I was in Texas only without the potential rattle snakes. It was amazing to be around farm animals and country people again after spending so much time in the big cities. My favorite food was the Italian sausages; literally the best sausages in ever had! “After the barbecue the team gathered around the fire to worship. Wednesday the team had an amazing time touring all over Rome. From the trevi fountain to the coliseum to the prison where 2 Timothy was written. While at the coliseum a small group gathered to pray thanking the Lord for all the brave Christian’s who came before us and who paved a pathway. While visiting the prison the team had the opportunity to sit and read 2 Timothy and to have a time of prayer, reflecting on having peace through life’s storms. The team had a good day exploring the city.
