The team was settled in the magnificent hotel and had a wonderful breakfast this morning before heading to Geneva. After getting off the train they began their Genevan tour of the reformation. The tour began at the statue of the reformers: Hosea, Calvin, Zwingli, and Beza. The tour ended at the church where John Calvin preached and finally concluded at a museum. Right outside John Calvin’s church the team had the wonderful opportunity to gather in praise singing “A Might Fortress Is Our God.” After the team toured there was time to shop around Geneva before heading back for team dinner. There were so many wonderful things to do. Some team members even had the opportunity to ride the Ferris wheel on Lake Geneva. What a fantastic day in Geneva! Team Member Lexi Patterson loved her day “ I’ve enjoyed being with friends and touring the history of the reformation. We got to sing in front of the reformation church/ museum and be a blessing to others, some even joined in our song. I loved seeing Lake Geneva. It was a beautiful reminder of God’s great creation.”
