The day began with a traditional French breakfast with pain ou Chocolatte. After breakfast the team heard a devotional from Noah Montgomery on Joshua, despite your circumstances and the unknown step out in faith. After a delectable meal and a touching devotional the team had time to prepare for the upcoming concert. There time for the team to explore the town we are staying in. While exploring the bakery, book shop all the fun French things in town, we had many opportunities to share the gospel with the shop owners and the townspeople. Team member Noah Montgomery had a wonderful opportunity in town. “We were able to go to the village and enjoy the shops. My family and I enjoy reading and so I immediately went to the book store. As we were shopping I was occasionally asking the owner if she had certain books and stuff and as we were leaving she was asking why we were there, and I told her about the concerts specifically the one in Paris and that we were here spreading the gospel. I really enjoyed telling her about our mission and I’m hopeful that she will come.” After the exploration the concert soloists and musicians diligently practiced for the upcoming concert. While they practiced a few members of the team had the opportunity to partner with a nearby church and distribute Gospel flyers throughout the local neighborhoods. While distributing Christa Francis had time to share some of her talent. “I got to give out gospel materials with a local pastor and I got to finally speak in French. It was such a great experience to be able to fellowship and give out the gospel with the people of France.” The evening concluded with a full concert run through followed by a team bonding game of soccer ( or as the French would say Futball).
