Today was an exciting and long-awaited day as our team officially arrived in Italy! After traveling from the United States, we finally landed and made our way to the place where we’ll be staying during our time here. We spent some time getting settled into our rooms, unpacking our bags, and adjusting to the new surroundings. It was such a blessing to finally be here after months of praying and preparing for this trip.
Once we were settled, we headed to the local church where we will be serving throughout the week. It was wonderful to meet members of the church and begin building relationships with those we will be partnering with. The evening was spent preparing for the upcoming Vacation Bible School. We are dinner, discussed plans, and worked together to get everything ready for the children who will be attending vbs.
As we looked around the church and prayed over the week ahead, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation among our team. We know God has already been at work here, and we are grateful for the opportunity to join Him in what He is doing. We ask for continued prayers as we begin VBS and seek to share the love of Christ with every child and family we encounter this week.
